Reflections on an uplifting 2021

A note from Thomas Flohr

2021 has given us the wonderful opportunity to reconnect clients with more places and people that are important to them.

As the VistaJet team worked to adapt to the fast evolution of business and private travel, I would like to take a moment to celebrate some of the achievements and thank all those who supported us along the way.

Supporting our community

Our team continues to be proactive and innovative in their support of customers. We have invested in our people and infrastructure to better serve clients wherever they are in the world.

Members have benefitted from a new Client Services structure which consolidates day-to-day booking and account management into one dedicated team. Seamless service remains our priority and I look forward to strengthening our client relationships further in 2022.

Enhancing your fleet

We have continued to improve and expand the global fleet as travelers return to the skies. We introduced the game-changing Global 7500, with already seven joining the over 200-strong group fleet and a further seven more to come by the end of 2022, and ordered eight new Challenger 350 aircraft to service a growing demand for super-midsize business jets.

Upgrading services

To guarantee an unparalleled in-flight experience on every journey, we are also completing interior refurbishments across our entire fleet. The refurbishment program for all Global and Challenger aircraft are expected to be complete by the end of 2022, including a fully upgraded cabin with new wood, leathers and carpets, in the same style as the Global 7500, and superior LuxStream KU Band Wi-Fi. VistaJet customers will benefit from fastest broadband speeds, ensuring a seamless and smooth connection in the air.

Forging partnerships

Our partners are fundamental to our ongoing success. I am always incredibly proud to connect with like-minded organizations, and Scuderia Ferrari is one close to my heart. VistaJet has been an official partner of the team throughout the 2021 Formula 1 season, supporting their operations throughout the racing calendar, and I look forward to our continued partnership over the years to come.

We also especially value our safety, service and sustainability partners for their support in making private travel better for our clients and our planet, aiding us in our commitment to be fully carbon neutral by 2025.

Leading environmental change

We have made great progress on a company-wide sustainability journey that we know is important to our customers and the communities in every country in the world.

We received an incredible response from our clients after introducing carbon offsets in 2020 and have since committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2025: an industry first. There remains much work to be done, but I am confident that we are moving in the right direction.

Servicing growing demand

Demand for private aviation is surging due to global economic development, health and safety considerations, and the reduced services of commercial aviation. Operating at maximum speed during 2021 has been a challenge, but I have been uplifted by the continued support of our Members and the outstanding efforts of our partners and employees.

We have adapted to help businesses spark a global economic recovery and will continue to do everything possible to support their objectives in 2022 and beyond.

Lastly, we have had the pleasure of welcoming many new clients to VistaJet from all over the globe — let me sincerely thank you for your trust and confidence. Our community, team and fleet are growing, and I am very optimistic about the years to come.

I look forward to reconnecting with you in 2022.
