EXPERIENCE THE WONDER OF WHALES FROM THE SKIES ABOVE THE INDIAN OCEAN
September 1 – 30 2024, Mozambique
This is part of our Private World Experiences
To experience the yearly humpback migration at Kisawa is truly unforgettable. The sheer number of whales (and calves) that enter the marine park is astounding, and with the intelligence of years of research into their movements by our team at the Bazaruto Center for Scientific Studies, our small, private whale watching expeditions leave guests in awe.
Celebrate your personal milestone while experiencing the magic of the whales and the atmosphere of joy and amazement they bring to our Sanctuary and island.
Take to the skies above the Bazaruto Archipelago National Marine Park, for a private, guided 30 minute helicopter safari, led by one of the science team at BCSS. You will weave around the stunning blues of the archipelago with the best chance of watching these traveling pods from above.
Kisawa Sanctuary is an award winning island resort, celebrating the unbreakable bond between people and land. Located on 300 hectares of pristine tropical coastline, rolling dunes and coastal forest, Kisawa has been created to ensure maximum privacy, with minimum impact on the natural environment, showcasing a rich design culture that celebrates craft and heritage.
14 spacious bungalows comprising 8 Residences invite guests to utilise the vast space and intuitive hospitality to ‘discover their own rhythm’. Positioned across the calm cove side of the island, each Residence sits within a secluded plot of at least one acre - containing a generous living room, king bedroom, sun deck, private day area & infinity pool, plus a dedicated electric mini moke.
Explore common spaces devoted to dining, bars and island adventures, or enjoy our Ayurvedic led wellbeing treatments and rituals, offered at our standalone spa & gym at the Natural Wellness Center (NWC).
Kisawa is the first hospitality property to open in tandem with its own marine research facility. This ‘Resort to Research’ initiative is a symbiotic relationship between Kisawa and BCSS, with a straightforward purpose: hospitality contributing directly to marine science and conservation.
The invitation is for all VistaJet Member bookings of 4 nights or more, during September 2024.
