The lucky cat

Legend has it that a cat has nine lives — but on a recent flight to Turks and Caicos, our crew was unwilling to put that old superstition to the test.

After a mix up in paperwork meant that our client couldn’t land on the island with the family’s beloved pet, the team were faced with some stark options — one of which was that the cat might have to be “destroyed”.

Swooping into action, the team devised a plan: they would adopt the feline friend as an honorary crew member, and take her with them on their next three flights until they arrived back in Europe.

The client’s cat returned home safe and sound — and our animal-loving crew had a playful new team member for the ride home (though we’re told the uniform, to be fair, was a little baggy).
