Flying with Pets from the UK | Private Airlines That Let You Fly With Cats and Dogs
Hoping to take your Cockapoo to New York for a business trip, but don’t know how to get them there easily? Or perhaps you are relocating the family overseas, and don’t want the hassle of flying your Russian Blue commercially? You needn’t worry – we make flying with pets from the UK simple. This not only means that your furry friend will arrive in comfort, but they will arrive in style, too.
If you have an upcoming trip with your favourite little animal, here are some top tips to help make your journey together a breeze.
Say hello to VistaPet
Here at VistaJet, we are proud to offer a cabin experience like no other. If you are searching for a private aviation company that supports both you and your loyal companion with everything you need to travel the world, you’ve found it. Our VistaPet programme enables you both to relax thousands of miles into the sky, no matter where you’re flying to. Instead of spending hours seeking airlines that let you fly with pets, allow us to provide you with an unparalleled travel experience.
Prepare necessary documents beforehand
When you’re preparing all your necessary documents pre-flight, there are a couple of key things you must make sure you have.
- A valid pet passport – this will confirm that your pet’s routine health checks are up to date.
- Vaccination certificate – depending on where you are travelling to, each country will have different requirements.
If you’d like any help or any further information before flying with us, do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to answer any questions.
Keep them happy in the air
One in four of our Members like to travel with their pet, and when they are on board, we ensure that we do everything we can to make it an unforgettable experience. When you embark on an adventure with us, we will provide your pet with a Pochette – a travel bag consisting of bio-organic food and treats, a care kit with salon quality fur care products and a selection of toys to help keep them entertained.
If you need some additional tips on how to keep your feline friend or cute pup happy mid-air, you could also try keeping them close to you. Animals in unfamiliar environments often need emotional support, so make sure there is room on your lap for a cuddle throughout the flight.
If you have a dog that is particularly frightened of flying, let us know beforehand, and we will be happy to arrange a fear of flying course. This will provide them with the confidence to fly, and will also make the flight a smooth, rather than scary one.
Ensure they are well fed
It’s not just your routine that will be disrupted when you fly – your pet’s will be, too. An additional way to keep them content – and healthy – in the air is to ensure they are well fed. When you are a Program member with us, you can request a dedicated menu for your companion, consisting of the likes of fresh meat and fish served with roasted or steamed vegetables and wholegrain brown rice.
We are your home away from home, so matter where your next trip is taking you and your furry friend, travel with VistaJet to keep flying simple. With one of our memberships, you will gain global access to the largest fleet of privately owned jets, to get you both where you need to be, whenever you need to be there.
