Necker Island is the definition of a luxury island, but it isn’t just about top class food, the latest activities and the best facilities, it is about the feeling of 'coming home'.
Set in the British Virgin Islands, a stunning and unspoilt area of the Caribbean. At 74 acres, Necker sits in turquoise waters surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with beautiful white sandy beaches. The closest international airport is on Tortola (Beef Island). By private boat Necker Island is approximately 30 minutes from Tortola and 10 minutes from Virgin Gorda, a smaller airport. It's also possible to reach Necker Island by helicopter from Tortola, Virgin Gorda and St. Thomas. Transfers to the island are included in the rates.
With crystal clear water surrounding Necker Island, there is an endless list of water sports to enjoy. From learning to kitesurf to stand up paddling, kayaking and wakeboarding, there is plenty to keep you occupied.
With Sir Richard Branson an avid tennis fan, it is no surprise Necker Island has two floodlit Astroturf tennis courts. A resident tennis pro is on hand for individual or group lessons, to arrange tournaments or to be an opponent for anyone fancying a challenging game.
