The first of four Challenger 850s to be completed for Swiss-based business jet charter, management, financing, and trading company VistaJet has been inducted into Midcoast Aviation’s St. Louis Downtown Airport completion center.
The aircraft will be used to support VistaJet’s worldwide charter operations. VistaJet is one of the fastest growing private jet companies with 27 medium- to long-range business jets fully dedicated to charter market. Typically, VistaJet operates over 275 flights and carries over 500 passengers per month.

Completion of the VistaJet 850s adds to Midcoast’s ever-expanding completions repertoire. In May, Midcoast marked its 100th green completion. Midcoast began performing completions in the mid-1980s, but completions did not become a Midcoast focus until 1999 when the company completed its first Challenger 604. Since that time, Midcoast has delivered 80 604s, three 850s and four Globals.
